Beautiful Park along cool running creek. Disc Golf course Fun with some holes (par 5) out in the Open & others with or in trees! Bring water & stay hydrated!
Great disc golf course. It’s a very long course. In the summer, the city doesn’t keep up with the mowing sometimes. In the spring it’s a wildflower refuge, so they grow tall and don’t get cut on one hole that’s out in the open.
Bring plenty of water in the summer, this course can take it out of you quick. Very challenging holes. Mix of open and wooded.
Some water hazards.
Lovely park! I love that there is a trail around the playground so I can get my steps in and see my kids play at the same time!
Very nice park. Not the best disc golf course as there are a lot of long, flat, featureless holes. Signage is inconsistent too. Concrete tees are nice though.
Love the park overall and the DG course just as much. Good mix of open easy holes and challenging...fyi the creek is disc hungry always and really gets in your head!
Nice overall course. Freshly mowed so easy to spot your disc. Needs work on the starting stations.
Concrete tees and a good mix of open and tree lined holes; a few with water hazards but they are not major issues. Good mix of par 3, 4, and 5's mostly grass but there are a few muddy areas right after it rains.
Signage shows hole layout and par at each tee and numbered along with the baskets being numbered.
Trash cans set up throughout course but no restrooms.
Typically not too wet a day or two after it rains
Every so often a young kid will pick your disc up and bring it back to you but that's just them trying to be helpful as they and their parents probably don't understand what DG is.
No where near the mosquito problem that Gateway park further south experiences. And not much elevation change compared to say Veteran's Park in Arlington.
All in all, one of my favorites to play in the area.
Good course with plenty of distance - we have played it for years. Only issue is some tall rough you got to worry about snakes in, but its a nice long course I play often...
